I am a qualified Practical Nurse in Finland with around two years of work experience in Attendo home care in Finland. I have experience supporting older adults and people with disabilities to live safely, comfortably, and with dignity.

My responsibilities included assisting clients with personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, toileting, eating and drinking, mobility, and other daily activities. I also supported rehabilitation, encouraged independence, observed changes in clients’ conditions, reported concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals, and followed individual care plans. I understand the importance of respecting each client’s privacy, preferences, culture, and dignity.

My European work experience has helped me develop strong teamwork, communication, patience, flexibility, and time-management skills. I am friendly, compassionate, reliable, and understanding, and I enjoy building trusting relationships with clients and their families. I can work independently and as part of a team while maintaining professional boundaries and confidentiality.

My qualifications and training include a Finnish Practical Nurse qualification, RAI (Resident Assessment Instrument) training, First Aid Training, and a Hygiene Passport. I am also willing to undertake further training required for the role.

I am currently based in Kenya and am interested in opportunities to provide quality senior care. I would welcome the opportunity to use my Finnish healthcare education and European work experience to support older adults in maintaining their comfort, independence, safety, and quality of life.
