Hello, family!
My name is Li, and I am Brazilian. I am a mother of two sons, Pedro and Lincoln, who are an important part of my story and have taught me so much about care, responsibility, patience, boundaries, affection, and, above all, about respecting each child's personality and individual pace.
Pedro is my older son and has recently moved to New Zealand to begin a new chapter in his life. Lincoln is my younger son and is passionate about cars, a passion that is an important part of his personality and story. Watching both of them grow, discover their own paths and become independent has been one of the most beautiful experiences of motherhood.
Perhaps that is why I understand how important it is for a family to trust someone with what they hold most precious.
I have a diverse professional background. I have a degree in International Trade and built much of my career in purchasing and international business, working for multinational companies. But another very important part of me has always been art, creativity and caring for people.
I am an artist and tattoo artist. Interestingly, I am a tattoo artist without tattoos myself, because I came to tattooing through my love for art, drawing and the possibility of turning an idea into something unique and meaningful. I have also worked as an art teacher and developed creative activities for children.
I truly enjoy being around children, observing the way they see the world and creating activities that encourage their imagination and independence. I do not believe children need to be entertained all the time. A good conversation, a drawing, a story, a simple game or the opportunity to discover something new can already become a very special moment.
I have a caring, attentive and calm way of looking after children. I also believe that caring means setting boundaries, maintaining routines and providing safety and security. I try to understand each child's personality, because every child has their own way of communicating, their preferences, fears and little particularities.
I am responsible and organized and I am used to managing schedules, commitments, planning and unexpected situations. As a mother, I have learned that things do not always happen exactly as planned, and that in those moments it is important to stay calm, understand what the child needs and find a solution with patience.
For several years, I also ran a creative space called Casa Azul, where we had art activities, gatherings and creative experiences. It was a very special project because it brought together some of the things I value most: art, people, warmth and sharing experiences.
I love nature, animals, children, art and the little discoveries of everyday life. I enjoy cooking, sharing meals, discovering new places, going for walks, having good conversations and learning about other cultures.
