Dear family, my journey with children and education has been a lifelong passion. I first came to the United States in 2004 as an Au Pair in Maryland, where I had the wonderful opportunity to experience American family life while caring for children. After returning to Brazil, I continued building my career in bilingual education, working as a kindergarten teacher for over 15 years. Academically, I hold degrees in Education and English Language and Literature, a postgraduate qualification in Early Childhood Education, and I am currently pursuing postgraduate studies in Neuroscience and Behavior. One thing that has never changed throughout my journey is my love for learning — I have never stopped studying, growing, and looking for ways to better understand children and their development. Now that my own child is 20 and has left for college, I feel that a new chapter is beginning. I would love the opportunity to return to North America, a place where I have always loved the language and culture , and bring my experience, warmth, maturity, and dedication to a new family. I believe that caring for children is not just a job; it is about building trust, creating meaningful connections, and becoming a positive part of their lives.
