Hello Host Family,
My name is Arjen, and I am 27-year-old from Philippines. I am kind, responsible and cheerful person who enjoys spending time with children and learning about different cultures.
I have extensive experience taking care of children. When my mother gave birth to my younger siblings, I took care of them from the time they were newborns. Additionally, I looked after my 7-year-old cousin for three years, and I became his temporary guardian. During that time, I helped him with his school assignments, cooked his meals and played his favorite sports with him.
I also volunteer on teaching children at our church during our annual Vacation Bible School every summer. This experience has exposed me to various personalities and behaviors, teaching me to be more patient in understanding them.
In my free time I enjoy walking outside to get some fresh air, listening to music, watching movies, I also love learning new things and meeting new people.
I want to become an au pair because I would like to experience a new culture, improve my language skills, and become part of a welcoming family while helping care for the children and assisting with household chores.
I hope to find a host family that is kind, respectful, and treats me like part of the family. I am excited about th opportunity to share my culture and create happy memories together.
