Dear Host Family,

My name is June, and I am a caring, responsible, patient, and hardworking person from Kenya. I am excited about the opportunity to become an au pair and to become a positive and trusted part of your family. I genuinely enjoy caring for children, supporting their development, and creating a safe, happy, and comfortable environment where they can learn and grow.

I have one year of experience working as a nanny in South Africa, where I cared for children in an Indian family. This experience taught me a lot about childcare, patience, responsibility, communication, and adapting to a family’s routines and expectations. Living and working with a family also helped me understand the importance of respecting different cultures, traditions, and ways of doing things.

As a nanny, I was responsible for helping with the children's daily routines and making sure they were safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I understand that every child is different, with their own personality, needs, interests, and emotions. I believe children need patience, attention, encouragement, and someone who listens to them. I always try to build a trusting relationship with children while also maintaining appropriate boundaries and routines.

I am also willing to learn and adapt to the specific routines and preferences of my host family.

My experience in South Africa gave me the opportunity to live in a different environment and interact with a different culture, which I really appreciated.
