I have experience caring for children of different ages, from babies and toddlers to teenagers up to 16 years old. I have worked with families in Kenya, Dubai and Oman, including families from different cultural backgrounds. This has taught me to be patient, flexible and respectful of different family routines.
I am a trained teacher, and I really enjoy working with children. I like helping with homework, reading, playing games, doing creative activities and simply spending time with them. I believe children should feel safe, listened to and cared for.
I also enjoy cooking simple meals, keeping things organized and helping with children's daily routines. I am happy to help with small household tasks related to the children.
Outside childcare, I enjoy fashion design, walking, running, listening to music, reading and learning about different cultures. I would also enjoy sharing some Kenyan food and culture with my host family.
