Dear Family,

My name is Sofia, I am 25 years old and I am from Mexico. I am very excited about the possibility of becoming part of a family as an au pair and sharing this experience together.

I have several years of experience working with children of different ages. I worked as a nanny for a family for approximately two years, caring for their children until they started kindergarten. I have also worked in a school with children from 4th to 6th grade, and I have experience caring for babies and children with special needs.

I am a responsible, patient, caring and creative person. I genuinely enjoy spending time with children, helping with their routines, preparing meals, playing with them and creating activities where they can learn and have fun. I also understand that caring for children means being attentive to their safety, emotional needs and the values their parents want to teach them.

My Catholic faith is an important part of my life, so I would especially love the opportunity to join a Catholic or Christian family where we can share similar values. At the same time, I am respectful of each family’s home, traditions and way of life.

For me, becoming an au pair is not only about working abroad. I would love to become part of a family, experience another culture, improve my English, grow personally and create a positive relationship with the children I care for.

I would be happy to help with childcare, children’s meals, activities, school routines and light household tasks related to the children. I am adaptable and understand that every family has different routines and needs.
