Introduction
I consider myself to be an emotionally intelligent, lifelong student and educator of youth development, SEL, and wellness. I love working with families, and empowering kids with life experiences and the tools that allow them to be safe, healthy, self + socially aware citizens of the Earth! I love being silly and participating in play, and crave routine, structure, and contributing to safe spaces for communal wellbeing. I am also a nomadic traveler, creative, and multimedia storyteller with an affinity for music, film, and food, particularly within cultures within the black diaspora. I have been in education +/ childcare for 10+ years, and I love what I do. The nature of traveling and caretaking is in such organic alignment with both my values and personal needs, therefore practicing wellness for both myself and others is where I flourish professionally and recreationally. All of my work with kids/students and families has been instrumental and rewarding to my growth as a human being, and I maintain deep connections with those I've cared for.
