I am a warm, patient, responsible and caring person, and caring for children is something that has become a very meaningful part of my life. I genuinely enjoy being around children and watching them learn, grow and discover the world around them. For me, being a nanny is not simply a job; it is an opportunity to become someone a child can feel safe, comfortable and happy around.
I have several years of experience caring for children of different ages, including babies and young children. I have been involved in their everyday routines, including feeding, bathing, dressing, hygiene, playtime, learning activities, rest and bedtime routines. I also enjoy singing, dancing, playing games, storytelling and finding simple activities that keep children engaged while helping them learn.
I have training in Early Childhood Development, with knowledge of child development, first aid, nutrition and child welfare. My experience has also taught me that every child is different. Some children are very active and curious, while others are quiet and need more encouragement and patience. I try to understand each child's personality and respond to their individual needs.
One of the things I value most about childcare is creating a safe and loving environment. I believe children need someone who will listen to them, encourage them, guide them gently and treat them with respect. At the same time, I understand the importance of following parents' instructions, household routines and parenting choices. Your children are your greatest responsibility, and I would never take that trust lightly.
I am also a very practical and hardworking person. I am happy to help with reasonable tasks connected to the children, such as preparing their meals, washing their clothes, tidying their rooms and play areas, and helping keep their daily routine organized.
I come from a family-oriented background, and caring for children has always been close to my heart. I understand that when parents invite a nanny into their home, they are not only looking for someone who can look after their children. They are looking for someone they can trust, someone dependable, respectful and honest, and someone who will treat their children with genuine care.
I speak English and Luganda, and I am currently learning French because I enjoy learning languages and communicating with people from different backgrounds. I would also be very happy to learn more about your family's culture, routines and way of life.
