Introduction
I hold a Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) from Enugu State College of Education (Technical) and am registered with the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN). My professional training has equipped me with knowledge of teaching methods, lesson planning, classroom management, student assessment and effective communication.
Throughout my teaching experience, I have prepared lesson notes, delivered classroom lessons, explained difficult concepts, assigned and marked exercises, prepared examination questions, assessed students' progress and provided additional guidance to learners who needed extra support. I understand that students have different learning abilities and learning speeds, so I adapt my teaching approach to suit individual needs.
I have experience preparing students for school examinations and supporting them in subjects including Computer Studies and other areas within my teaching competence. I also prepare educational materials, revision exercises, objective questions and theory questions to help students practise and consolidate what they have learned.
My approach to tutoring is student-centred. I focus on identifying a learner's strengths and weaknesses, explaining topics in simple and practical terms, encouraging questions and using exercises to measure improvement. I believe that effective tutoring requires patience, consistency, discipline and the ability to make learning interesting and understandable.
I am reliable, organised and committed to helping learners achieve their academic goals. I am comfortable working with students individually or in small groups and can provide structured lessons, homework assistance, examination preparation and general academic support.
My goal is not simply to help students pass examinations, but also to develop their confidence, independent thinking, problem-solving skills and positive attitude towards learning.
