My name is Monica. If I had to describe myself in a few words, I would say I am an energetic, warm, and deeply patient person. I feel full of life and vitality, and for me, caregiving has never been just a job,it is a true vocation that has guided my entire adult life.

My journey with caregiving started at home, raising my children, who are now independent adults, and taking care of my elderly parents until their passing. Caring for my loved ones through every stage of life taught me the real value of gentle presence, active listening, dignity, and how important it is for someone to feel safe and cherished in their own home.

Over the years, I have worked in formal healthcare settings (such as Carechoice Dungarvan in Ireland), home care agencies, and educational support centres, alongside supporting elderly friends and family members. I am fully trained and experienced in daily personal care, mobility support, medication oversight, and cooking healthy delicious meals.

Originally from Spain, I am a native Spanish speaker, I speak fluent Portuguese, and English is my third language, which I speak at an intermediate (B1) level and continue to improve every day with enthusiasm.

However, beyond certifications and experience, what I want to offer your family is total peace of mind. Opening your home to someone is a big step, and I deeply respect your family routines, privacy, and peace. My goal is never to be a burden or an intruder, but to become a reliable, active, and caring presence- someone you can truly count on as one more member of the family.
