Hi! I'm Yesica, a 31-year-old bilingual au pair and kids' teacher. I'm originally from Colombia and have lived in Barcelona for the past few years.
Children have always been a big part of my life. I spent two years as an au pair in the USA and another two years in Spain, living with families and caring for their children every day. I've helped with school runs, homework, meals, bedtime routines and plenty of play, crafts and outdoor time. Being part of a family's daily life is something I truly enjoy, and I'm still in touch with the families I lived with.
I also teach children, which has taught me patience, structure and how to make learning feel like a game. I have a degree in Modern Languages, so I love helping kids learn new languages naturally through songs, stories and everyday conversation. I speak native Spanish and fluent English, and I'd be happy to teach your children Spanish.
For the last few years I've also worked in a corporate environment in banking and compliance, which has made me organised, reliable and responsible. Now I want a break to do what I love most: caring for children and being part of a family while I discover Canada.
A bit more about me: I like to do Yoga and Pilates, I have a driving licence, I can swim, I'm comfortable with pets.
