Hi, I'm Regina!

A little about me:
I’m a 24-year-old from Mexico who recently graduated from university this past summer. To share a bit about my background: I studied International Business, spent over five years working in digital marketing (specifically paid media), and actively participated in international academic competitions and exchanges—including time in the US and South Korea. I'm a native Spanish speaker and highly proficient in English (C1 TOEFL certified), so communication will always be seamless and easy. I also love learning languages and started studying German a year ago—I'm currently at an A1 level and eager to keep practicing!

I initially moved to Vienna to start my master's degree. However, after four busy years of balancing university, work, and extra projects, I decided to take a well-deserved gap year. My goal right now is to live an intentional, slower life, discover new places, meet wonderful people, and enrich my life with meaningful experiences abroad before resuming my career.

My experience with pets:
Although I haven't done pet sitting professionally before, caring for animals has been an integral part of my entire life. Growing up in a household with both dogs and cats, it's impossible for me to pick a side—I adore both!

For nearly half my life, I had a sweet Chihuahua named Doggy whom I dearly cherished until he passed away at almost 15 years old in late 2024. Anyone who knows me knows Doggy, as I’ve always talked about him to everyone and called him the "first love of my life". He and I shared a bond that nobody else in my family had—he would stay by my side all day, especially whenever I felt sad, as if he instinctively knew how to comfort me. He’d scratch my leg as his signature sign that he wanted to be pampered. Even in his older years, he loved being around people and seeking snuggles. Everyone always told me his loving nature was a direct reflection of my own personality, since we were practically inseparable.

We also have a 9-year-old female cat who joined our family a few years later. Although she is the queen of her own realm and keeps to herself—as many cats do—I absolutely adore her. While independent, whenever she comes to seek affection, it makes me the happiest person in the world! I cherish those moments as much as I can, knowing how cats operate: the moment they’ve had enough attention, they simply wander off haha.

Both she and Doggy have always been healthy and never suffered from major health issues, which I consider a direct reflection of the attentive and loving care we provide for our pets at home.

Having raised and lived with pets for most of my life, I deeply understand what it takes to care for them properly: maintaining their diets, keeping them active through play and walks, giving them plenty of affection, and respecting their individual personalities.

What you can expect of me:
I am a highly responsible, neat, and organized person. Growing up in a family of five, order and cleanliness were core values at home—my mother always taught us that maintaining an orderly environment reflects order in every other aspect of life. You can trust that I will respect your home and treat your space and pets with the utmost care and attention.
